I lived my entire life in upstate New York (not the city), but right in the center of the state. I actually grew up on a dirt road. When we heard a car it was either pulling in our driveway or going to our neighbors house. I did all typical things growing up, went to school, rode my bike, made mud pies, read books and sometimes helped my grandparents put hay in at the farm. I went to college and got my Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Theater then continued to get my MS in Ed in School Counseling. I have taken many course toward my degree in Educational Administration as well. I got a job as a School Counselor right after college and stayed there for 31 years. After 31 years, I retired at the first chance I had. There is more to life and I want to explore. Travel is my passion. I love to learn and experience new things. So, I sold or gave away everything I own, packed my car and became a nomad. I will find some places where I will make my home temporarily, but am free to do as I wish. Another passion is theater. Theater engages the mind, body and soul. It’s therapeutic and fun! It allows me to tape into my creativity. Baseball is another important part of my life. It’s good to use both sides of the brain! I have three grown children who keep me grounded even though they share my adventurous nature. Go out of your comfort zone! Live life to the fullest! Follow your dreams! View all posts by suzannerodio
